I got to check out Hotel Le Germain and their Play Lounge Tuesday night in Toronto for the Maple Leafs Game against the New York Islanders. The Hotel is one of two Hotel Le Germain locations in Toronto, this one being located at Maple Leaf Square. The hotel’s location makes it a great spot to stay when in the city for sports (located next to ACC) or for business (located walking distance to financial district and downtown core).
The Play Lounge at the hotel was a great spot to watch the game and is a popular spot prior to the game for attendees of the ACC. With TVs on every wall and a great view of Maple Leaf Square, we got to try their maple and bacon Caesars as well as drink some local beers like Amsterdam Blondes.

We also got to take a tour of some of their boardrooms and accommodation. When naming the boardrooms they decided to stay with a hockey theme naming the rooms Offensive Zone, Defensive Zone, and The Penalty Box. The latter is situated looking over Maple Leaf Square and the big screen TV that plays the games.
The rooms range from single rooms to 3 room suites, all with beautifully designed interiors and photos of athletes from local teams. Many of the rooms have views of the square and the ACC.
