T.IP OFF, ROUND TWELVE: SUPERBOWL XLVII IN TORONTO – CONTEST

POSTED January 23, 2013 by  CATEGORY: Sports, T.ip Off Column, The Tip Off Column
T.IP Off brings you all the awesome sports related news, info and interviews. Toronto is the home of many local and international leagues/events, making it a huge hot spot for sports. T.IP Off has you covered on everything you need to know.

A taste of New Orleans is coming to Toronto for Superbowl XLVII. Each year BudLight throws parties across Canada featuring live music, big screen TVs, NFL Personalities, NFL Cheerleaders and New Orleans inspired tailgate food. This will be the event’s second year which takes place in Montréal, Vancouver, and Toronto. Last year the event drew over 3400 people to the three indoor events.

NFL personalities will include former Heisman trophy winner and long-time Oakland Raider Tim Brown. Brown racked up 14,934 receiving yards (5th all-time) and 100 touchdowns over 17 seasons. Long time Eagle Brian Westbrook is a two-time Pro Bowl running back whose 9,875 career yards from scrimmage is most in Philadelphia Eagles history. The Toronto party will also feature a performance by the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders.

This year’s Superbowl is a special one. It will be the first time ever that the two coaches of each team are brothers. Jim and John Harbaugh will go hermano a hermano for a chance to win family bragging rights.

This is also the last year for star player Ray Lewis whose Baltimore Ravens went 10 – 6 in the regular season and managed to sneak into the Superbowl. Lewis has played 17 years in the NFL and his first recorded sack was on the coach of the 49ers Jim Harbaugh in 1996 as a rookie when Jim was a veteran player.

We want to send you to the Toronto event with a guest.
