There is no other single event in the world where people are on the edge of their seats waiting for commercials than during the Super Bowl. This year during the pre-game coverage, you may have noticed an inspiring piece by Reebok featuring three mega NHL stars John Tavares, Matt Duchene and Maxime Talbot. The tagline “Live With Fire” speaks to both professional athletes and fitness enthusiasts alike and promotes Reebok’s new Men’s Training apparel collection as well as a new footwear design called TrainFlex DC.
As Reebok’s team puts it, to “Live With Fire” is to live a life with passion, intent and purpose. Using our national sport and the “Live With Fire” messaging, Reebok is really encouraging Canadians to live a healthy and fit lifestyle with passion, intent and purpose.
Reebok held their media launch at Wychwood Barns and gave us media buffs a run for our money. Former NHLers, P.J. Stock and Scott Thornton, joined in the CrossFit training circuit they put us through to test the product. It was exhilarating and exhausting. And damn did we look good.
The new collection, currently available for men only, features a STRNGTH Full-Zip Hoody, STRNGTH Knit Pant, PWR Speedwick Short and RealFlex TrainFlex DC. The Training collection is made with lightweight, breathable and moisture-wicking fabrics that will adapt to any kind of movement. It can be found at Sport Chek and Sports Experts in Quebec.
