This coming Friday May 24, 2013 the Midnight Mrkt is having another pop up event at 2nd Floor. This elusive event, appears about once a month, located at 461 King Street West, 2nd Level is the perfect late night snack for an eclectic shopper’s appetite. The event takes place from 8 pm to 2 am with drinks, dancing, food vendors and local retailers selling vintage clothing, jewellery, housewares and artwork. DJ’s Johnny Hockin and Lucie Tic will be spinning beats all night long and most importantly, the event is free!

Art & Fashion Week took place in Toronto for an extended duration of 5 days, from Tuesday April 23, 2013 – April Saturday 27, 2013 fashion go-ers and cultured citizens flocked to Landsdown and Bloor for a week of fashion therapy. FAT combines a fusion of film, dance, art and runway shows to keep the audience intrigued. The daily fashion ills addressed in this years theme, Fashion Therapy are: Drama, Craving, Crisis, Escape and Euphoria.

Bustle Clothing took the runway this year at World MasterCard Fashion Week with a series of funky patterns embellished on classic menswear fits and styles. The bold touch in this season’s collection showcased Bustle’s signature “cheeky” approach to leisure apparel.
Designers Shawn Hewson and Ruth Promislow, who founded the company in 2002, have since made a prominent impact in North American fashion collaborating with major companies in a wide range of sectors.
This year, Bustle is partnering with Great Gulf, home and condominium company, to create custom uniforms for the Great Gulf service team. Jacqueline Staub, Great Gulf’s director of marketing, says that the uniforms will allow for a greater synergy amongst the team as well as solidify the company’s image and values, “It’s another way in which we’re setting the standard for Great Gulf’s commitment to design,” Staub says.

The 8th Annual [FAT] Arts and Fashion Week runs this week from Tuesday April 23, 2013 until Saturday April 27, 2013. This years theme, Fashion Therapy feeds your addiction with a five-day treatment of Drama, Craving, Crisis, Escape and Euphoria. A fusion of fashion and art, FAT features an assortment of runway shows, photography, films and exhibitions. The events take place around the Roncesvalles area at 213 Sterling Rd. in Toronto from 7 pm – 12 am daily.
